Working across nonprofits, higher education, and corporate spaces I found the same struggle consistently shows up:
Good intentions rarely translating to tangible, equitable, and care-driven practices.
I’ve inherited relationship nightmares. Watched people treat partnerships like a box to be checked. I wanted something different and knew that going it alone wasn’t going to last. Not for myself, and definitely not to the benefit of the teams I led, or the people I aimed to serve.
So I tried something I'd rarely seen: real and raw relationship building. My strategy not only led to flourishing relationships, it garnered coalitions, resources, and nationally-recognized programs.
